M.A., Architectural Interior Design—Inchbald School of Design, London/Glyndwr University, Wales

When I moved to London with my husband and children, I decided to pursue a lifelong dream to study architectural interior design at the renowned Inchbald School of Design. The coursework was rigorous and exhaustive—and I loved every minute of it.

My  entry in Inchbald’s annual Veedon Fleece carpet design contest was inspired by a walk along the frozen Chicago River and watching the ice slowly break apart to reveal the dark waters below. My rug design won, and Veedon Fleece produced the rug as the first-place prize.
